This Acceptable Use Policy defines prohibited actions and responsibilities of all users of ShambHost™ Services.
By using our platform, you agree to abide by this AUP, which forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. GENERAL POLICY
ShambHost services must be used ethically, legally, and responsibly.
Any activity that disrupts network integrity, endangers other users, or violates law is strictly prohibited.
2. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
You may not use our Services for:
a. Illegal or Harmful Content
Child exploitation, human trafficking, or obscene material
Hosting or distributing copyrighted works without permission
Terrorism-related or politically destabilizing content
b. Network Abuse
Sending spam or unsolicited bulk emails
Hosting phishing, malware, or scam websites
Engaging in DDoS attacks or brute force attempts
Port scanning or network intrusion testing without authorization
c. Resource Misuse
Excessive CPU, memory, or bandwidth usage on shared servers
Running crypto miners or resource-intensive bots
Bypassing fair usage limits
d. Fraud or Deception
Operating fake investment, Ponzi, or impersonation websites
Using our network to deceive or defraud others
Creating multiple accounts for fraudulent reselling
e. Privacy Violations
Harvesting or selling personal data
Sending harassing or abusive communications
3. OFFSHORE HOSTING POLICY
Offshore hosting provides privacy not immunity from law.
We do not monitor user content but will comply with valid international legal orders or abuse reports that violate these policies.
4. EMAIL POLICY
You may only send emails to recipients who have opted in.
Use of third-party mail lists, spam, or mass unsolicited promotions will result in immediate suspension.
5. SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES
Keep all CMS (WordPress, plugins, scripts) up to date.
Use strong passwords and two-factor authentication when possible.
Report any security breach immediately to support@shambhost.com.ng.
6. ENFORCEMENT
Violations of this AUP may result in:
Service suspension or termination
Permanent account ban
Legal reporting if necessary
ShambHost reserves the right to determine what constitutes a violation at its sole discretion.
7. REPORTING ABUSE
Abuse or violation reports should be sent to:

8. LIABILITY
ShambHost is not responsible for the actions of its clients.
Each customer is fully liable for the content they host and for ensuring compliance with local and international laws.
9. POLICY UPDATES
We may revise this AUP at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
